Disclaimer: I received a free entry to the Scooby-Doo Virtual Run/Walk to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review, find, and write race reviews!
My family LOVES Scooby-Do. We’ve seen the live-action movies, the original, and I think our favorite is actually the darker Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated TV show. So when BibRave said that I had the chance to run a virtual Scooby-Do-themed race, I jumped in feet first like Scoob is known to jump on Shaggy!
You can participate in this run/walk event anywhere, at any time, from now through October 4, 2020 if you’d like to print a Finisher’s Certificate. That gives you plenty of time to train for a 5K or 10K with your family or pups!
Here’s what you get when you register:
- A stylish, lightweight long-sleeved tech tee with hood
- A finisher’s medal
- An insulated water bottle
- A personalized bib.
And you can even add a Scooby-Doo collar or bandanna to your registration if you’d like! I’m hoping to wrangle one of our cats into it.
Here’s what my swag looks like:
When you complete your run or walk, make sure to track it using a device with GPS tracking if you’d like to submit your results. You can even view a leader board to see how others have done! And one added feature is that you can upload your own photos and add overlays to download as a keepsake. Zoinks!
I also love the fact that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is the official charity for this event. According to the race site, “The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with founder Danny Thomas’ vision, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.”
