Are you ready?!

I’m wicked excited to be returning to the Delaware Marathon Running Festival this year on April 28, 2019! I ran the relay back in 2014 and the half in 2017, where I PRed! Here is my race recap of the half in 2017 if you’re interested. You can find my race results from 2017 on Athlinks, which is a free-of-charge social networking website aimed at competitive endurance athletes. It primarily presents race results for running, swimming, cycling, mountain biking, triathlon, and adventure racing. It is also represented as a tool for athletes to connect with other competitors and enthusiasts locally. I love how everything’s consolidated into one place.

This year, I’ll return to conquer the full distance. At least five of my BibRavePro cohorts will be there as well, so I’m pumped to meet some of them in person! I’m also relieved to hear that the race course is updated, because based on runner feedback, they have eliminated the old two-loop marathon course.

I’ll be figuring out a few training schedules for my upcoming races soon, since I’m registered for a smattering of 5Ks, half marathons, and at least one full marathon. There’s definitely more to come on that front!

In an upcoming post, I’ll outline the many race options at the Delaware Marathon Running Festival, because there’s something for everyone here in our little state!
