Marathon Training: Days 56–58

runSince Tuesday (9/27) I’ve gotten in three more runs (4 miles, 4 miles, 3 miles) to make my September total 75 miles. It’s not bad, not my best, but I’ll take it!

I’m also over the moon excited that I reached my $1K goal toward Team Momentum and the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Marine Corps Marathon in October. Thank you so very much again to everyone who donated. I raised that amount purely through social media, two e-mails, and a few mailed letters. Woo hoo!

I’ve also been picked to be a Brooks tester, so my shoes should arrive in the next few days. I can’t say a peep about them while I’m testing, but I’m wicked excited about this as I need a new pair of shoes and can’t afford them.
